About the authors

     

     My name is Nicole Carey and my co-author husband's name is Ron.  I, personally,  have been writing for over 30 years!  I started out my writing career writing song lyrics, I believe, at the tender age of 12 and I started writing romance books sometime in my 20's,  both of which I still do!  Then in the middle of 2018 I discovered that I enjoyed writing children's picture books!  'Fergus Finds His Shine' was the first children's book I wrote and illustrated, with the help of my husband, which is why 'Fergus' has kind of become our little mascot.  We plan on Fergus making an 'appearance' in all of our children's books, so be sure to look for him!  Also be sure to check out on Facebook and Pinterest!  We will have fun facts about each of the animals we use for our characters and also games and activities to go along with all of our books!  We hope our books put a  SMILE on your face and in your heart!  Enjoy!  :)
